Adam Armengol plays the piano, and is really freaking awesome at it. Besides just playing the white keys, he also is trying to start his own business as an event pianist. He's also just a really cool dude. Adam hired me to shoot some promo photos for him and i was more than glad to considering that i have also recently started to shoot full time. We wanted to get a couple of shots of him next to piano and while shooting he treated me to an array of music from classical to One Republic. Next we wanted to get a few photos outside where he could relax and be himself. Needless to say i was totally excited about the shots before we even finished the photo shoot. I have posted a few of my favorite from the days work. If there is anyone who reads my photoblog is looking for event pianist i have your guy and his name is Adam.

Kymberli Price Ferguson aka Mama to Be
Every now and then, my camera is more than just a piece of equipment used to take pictures. it becomes an extension of myself, looking deep into the eyes of people who are amazing. and triumphant. and joyful. and blessed. yesterday, it was my true joy to capture a woman who has been given the gift of a baby in the belly. a gift she has prayed for and waited for and is now rejoicing over. he will be the pride of his mommy and daddy and i cannot wait until he makes his way into this world! Kym and Garrett, i hope your glow never goes away. thanks for letting me capture this amazing moment in your lives!

Sew Special Studio Teen Project Runway Camp
Watch out Project Runway you may have a few of your future contestants learning the ropes at Sew Special Studio in Woodbridge, VA. During the week long class the students learned how to sew pillow cases, wallets, blouses and other useful everyday items. I spent three separate occasions with the students and it looked as if they were having more fun than they would at an amusement park. The classes included instruction on how to sew but also came with a Brother Project Runway sponsored sewing machine! Talk about fierce! I'm sure Christian Siriano is shaking in his designer boots!
