Sew Special Studio Teen Project Runway Camp

Watch out Project Runway you may have a few of your future contestants learning the ropes at Sew Special Studio in Woodbridge, VA. During the week long class the students learned how to sew pillow cases, wallets, blouses and other useful everyday items. I spent three separate occasions with the students and it looked as if they were having more fun than they would at an amusement park. The classes included instruction on how to sew but also came with a Brother Project Runway sponsored sewing machine! Talk about fierce! I'm sure Christian Siriano is shaking in his designer boots!

My mother Indira Romero and younger sister Rachel have moved to St. Croix, V.I. and this was our last time together on the mainland... i am going to miss you guys but glad to know there is a tropical paradise awaiting my arrival

A couple i found were from my best man, one of my best friends and in generally an all around great guy wedding in Atlanta... On perhaps a perfect afternoon in Woodbridge... Josh Larkyn and I ventured out to a local Marina to take a few pictures and needless to say Larkyn is a natural for the camera... With every photo came a an extremely cute cheeeeeeeeeese and she held the word and smile until her i looked up from the view finder... how cute!!!

On the absolute hottest day of the year so far in metro DC.. I was able to take these stunning photos of Izzy who just would not stand still during our photo session... but when she did i was able to take these great photographs... It was an such a great pleasure to be able to spend a little time with Izzy and her mother.
